It's very cool if you like old time radio programs like Gunsmoke ... currently listening to Have Gun Will Travel. There are also different genres other than westerns. Great for changing things up from music on long road trips.
Howard McNear who appeared as "Floyd the barber" on Andy Griffith show was "Doc" on the radio version of Gunsmoke (and made about a half dozen appearances on the TV version).
and old abbott and costello listed...gotta be priceless<<<
Haven't listed to them yet, but have checked out a few from the early 40's (Sgt. Preston of the Yukon) ... it's interesting how "overly melodramatic" some of the radio actors were until about the early 50's when Gunsmoke entered the scene ... which leaned more toward's "hokey / stereotyped realism".

Were you aware the first 5 or so seasons of Gunsmoke on TV were based on the same scripts as the radio versions?
So, you can still "not watch tv", but kind of at the same time by tuning in.
