It was an oputstanding Fairs this year, we had a great time!

Was down on Friday.  Hot, dusty, and crowded but always fun.   That place can really be disorienting and easy to get lost (especially when the edibles kick in).  Caught Lewi Longmire with Scott Law at the Corral Stage and a couple other acts and picked up some handcrafts.

I caught that set too, it was great. Scott and Lebo played the Otter party Thursday night. Chris Chandler was entertaining as always, I caught two of his sets. California Honey Drops were good. The highlight of the weekend (musically speaking) was the late night set on Saturday with High Step Society - that was one of the most creative acts I have seen in many years.

I played until 5:00am with Stacy on Banjo (if you are a 49ers fan you know who he is) and a bunch of other musicians. Good times.

I heard ALO's set on the radio - it was pretty hot.

OCF was great this year.  A few new names I hadn't heard that were fantastic:  Anna Moss & Ghost Note.  Brown stallion, ( a ween cover band), did some ska and have some of their own songs, which have a similar ween-sarcasm.  Barry Sless was great;  he's playing in eugene on thursday.  Local Alan Glickenhaus was on a kval news brief....&, kind of unfortunate...his mom in New York texted him, saying she saw him on NBC news....

I'm confused...20 bands playing at the same time seems like a a bit of a cluster.   Also why does it stop at 7pm only to restart at 11pm?   Skipping peak hours?

It's a few days worth on the main stage, zang

All the day tripping public gets kicked off the property at 7pm and then the innies get more sets
