We were on the plane, strapped in, safety instructions went over, and disconnected from the walkway when the pilot tells us we all need to leave the plane and bet re-TSA'ed.
The airport was full of thousands of lost and confused people and workers. 5 hours later our flight was canceled.
Apparently a camera battery was smoking and crackling in someones carry on close to the TSA checkpoint and a lady screamed GUN and complete panic took over. A couple of people breached the TSA check point so they shut the ENTIRE airport down including planes that were on the runways to return and research everyone.

Now I missed my flight out west and I will miss my sons football game today. I am bumed out today.
Any good news to this we received a full refund from the airline, hotel and rent a car.
Guess I have to wait for the Natty.

Sorry your travel experience got ruined.
I think it's totally stupid that an already loaded plane was not allowed to take off. You'd think that once everybody on board has gone through Customs, it would be FAA jurisdiction, working with the air traffic controllers to get on and off the runway.
The gestapo has thoroughly crushed any enjoyment of air travel since they got in there.

Because there was a breach of 10 or so people that did not get checked there was a possibility they could have boarded a plane. apparently we were still hooked up for 4 minuets after the breach and they could have boarded our plane.
There was this on dude that did kinda look musulimish...............
The Natty is what they call the national championship game.
They are ranked #2 in the country for junior colleges (JUCO) and if they win today they will remain undefeated on the year and should be invited tor the title game. It's kinda a big deal. To be #1 out of 187 teams would be cool.
