While this might be true, does it excuse Trump and those who're carrying water for him or turning a blind eye?

At this point, I truly wouldn't be surprised if a damning recording surfaced of Trump ordering a hit on someone, yet he was "excused" somehow someway by people who would prefer to be "right" (about their original decision of support).  It's actually kind of surreal, but frustrating ... to see things unfold like this, knowing that people will only realize their mistake when it's too late.

The Republican party isn’t being stupid. This is an intentional campaign of lies with the sole purpose of protecting the oil companies assets so that they are able to monetize every last drop of oil left in the ground. Because a dollar in their back account today is a dollar they get to keep and fuck future generations.
