Party like its 2022

Forums:

So far, got tix for Karl Denson, Motet, Slash, Leftover Salmon, Emmylou Harris, Rage Against the Machine, Santana, Roger Waters, and King Gizzard.  Seeing more and more shows popping up everyday and haven't even started planning the summer schedule.

Who are you freeks seeing in 2022?

So far? Tix for Plant n Krauss, Waters and Tony Levins Stickmen. Probably gonna pick up tickets for Weir since he will be in the neighborhood. Not interested in too many shows anymore

Nada, 43% vax rate here among the Trump cult.

I'm waiting for outdoor shows next year.

DSO, Bjork, Nick Cave and Roger Waters, but we will see.

zero in Feb. and airplane family band in march so far

Cracker/James McMurtry Band/Ike Reilly late Jan. 20-22

Cracker/Drivin' & Crying/Arrested Development and more Feb. 4th

Brian Jonestown Massacre May 7th

my wife is seeing Drive By Truckers  Jan 15th and Bikini Kill July 1st

I will continue to frequent "Common Fields" down the block, with free music most nights (and comedy, kids shows, etc), outdoors, local entertainers...  for the win.

A few other local shows on the menu too,  I'll likely still continue to stream the touring acts for the time being...

>>>>my wife is seeing Drive By Truckers  Jan 15th

I just added Drive By Truckers (never seen them) and YMSB to my schedule.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow for Zero at the Aladdin and Trombone Shorty at the Edgefield (George Porter Jr. and Dumpstaphunk opening) and will be getting both.

Same here. This has been canceled and rescheduled 3 times already. Maybe 4th time is the charm.

I haven't bought tix to anything yet and there's not too much on my calendar, but what is there in Jan & Feb that I'll likely see are the Gilmore Project (Jeff Pevar & Mark Karan guitars, Kasim Sulton bass, Prairie Prince drums & dishwasher Guberman keys), Pacific Mambo Orchestra, Karl Denson, Pink Talking Phish, various jazz groups.

It will be interesting to see how in the coming weeks & months things progress, or regress, due to the damned plague.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Alan.

Just Plant/Krauss, so far.

Have a ticket for Hot Tuna on the 28th.  Will see Hayes Carll in April.

Someone is getting smart. No fake vax cards!

With the current uptick in covid cases with in the music community we are taking every effort to make this as safe an event as possible. With that in mind Proof of CA State Digital vax and ID will be required for entry. No vax cards. Here is a link to receive a CA State Digital card - https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/ . Most states offer digital cards. If you are traveling from out of state, please provide digital card from your state.

Slick. Thanks. I've been holding tix for 2 years now. They keep rolling them over from one anticipated date to the next. The hard part has been remembering to cancel and rebook the hotel so far in advance.

Bss - nice! Enjoy.

Thx Zooey,

Here's a show(s) for you Bezerkely Zoners...

^I'm interested in attending that one (easy walk from my house), but heard that Cornerstone has been lax about the Covid.  Inaccurate rumors?

NYE with DSO

I didn't know about that Stu NYE show.

No spot taken, but it's good to see good things happening at that little joint.

And I bet I know who's working the doors that night.

Santa rocks!

Oteil & Friends @ the Cap 2/12 (I have doubts these shows happen.  Love the lineup.)

Joe Jackson 5/21 @ The Beacon 5/21

And . . . in another case of Lily not knowing she won tix until she got an email about a postponement, MULE @ the Beacon in April (Not sure which night, but I'm assuming they weren't giving away many NYE tix.  But if they were, I won't have to bag a shift of work.).  Been a while since I saw Mule, and the last three were free as well (ArtScape; and we won a Triple Play one year but could only make two.).

Let's see, I have tickets for Saucerful of Secrets which has been postponed. That leaves Zero, Richard Thompson and the Airplane Family band. We'll see how many of these actually happen.....

I didn't know about that Stu NYE show.

It's been canceled....

Did you try to get a refund for Mexico Woz?

We bowed out of PITS today, full refund. It seems way too risky....

Addendum:

Lily's phone made some noise, and she jokingly said, "Ooh.  What did I win today?"

$10 Hamilton tix.  1/8.  We'll see if it's running.  In a city where three subway lines weren't running today.
