Great memories of playing with PC. Bassist for four years in my band Ragged Glory. I think our best night was a sold out show with Jelly at the old Sweetwater. First time I jammed with Weir was that night. PC was a solid a backbone player for me. He was also a kind and warm man with incredible conversation and stories from his career. I miss him.
Last night I gave a good listen to Good Old Boys Live from 1975 in Santa Cruz. Frank Wakefield, David Nelson, Brantley Kearns, Jerry Garcia, Pat Campbell. Great two CD release a few years ago. Good stuff.

Photos from the show at the bottom of the blog.
Nick Gravenites announced this was his last show. Glad I was there to see him sing "Born In Chicago" one last time.
