Drives me crazy that she never goes any farther north in NY than Kingston

Ending in Philly is sort of like bringing it all back home, as she grew up in southern New Jersey before following her stars to New York.

I'd like to catch a show at the Chicago Theatre some day, just probably not in November, so I'll try to get tickets for Seattle.

Of all the things that people complain about modern concert ticketing, the one that raises my voice is tickets going on sale nine months before an event.

It's annoying.

Whack a mole all the way up to the Loge at the Beacon for presale... but I'm in

The LA show isn't listed on Ticketmaster; the link on Patti's site leads to LA Philharmonic ticketing, and they're showing the presale as starting tomorrow. I've never been to the Disney concert hall, but it looks amazing.

Anyone have the artist presale code for the Bay Area?

Thank you

I had a little problem getting in the queue, but I caught a break when someone threw back a pair of Row D Main Floors.

Yeah, it's a ways off, but I'm looking forward to seeing her and the band again at The Paramount Theatre.

What kind of prices are people seeing for tickets?

I paid 126$ for Loge at Beacon and 116$ for floor in Philly

Turns out LA tickets did go on sale today. I picked up a couple terrace level center just in front of the balcony overhang for $123 each.

WOW, thanks for the heads up.  Got Philly tix.

It's my honey's B-Day, & this threads things wonderfully.

$92 isle seats balcony @ Masonic.

My favorite spot in that venue, I just hope I'll be able to use them.

I got aisle floor seats at the Masonic, $127 each, Looking forward to this event.....however far off into the future it is

I  paid $149 each for a pair in the 4th row behind the orchestra pit.

I agree, I've really attempted lately to wait, not jump on pre-sale or even day-of-show sales.

But.....ORCH7$173 for the pair

That LA theatre is crazy Gorj

So much miss the orpheum in Boston

Patti and Lenny are live on Substack right now talking about the tour, answering questions and playing a bit

This live stream was much higher video quality than her regular posts.

i saw cryin' ryan at the LA disney place. It was nice.

Heading to the Paramount soon.

Masonic Auditorium on Thursday for us!

Got a ticket for Thursday (Masonic is a WAY better venue than the Oakland Fox) we'll see if I make it.

Either way, I love Patti Smith in my heart.

A memorable night of music, poetry, and a celebration of both the living and the dead took place tonight in Seattle. Patti and her band (Lenny Kaye, J.D. Daugherty. Tony Shanahan, and her son Jackson Smith) fired up a packed house with an excellent performance of her Horses album and more on the actual 50th anniversary of the November 10, 1975 release of the heralded record.

The show opened with the Horses album, followed by a medley of Television songs sans Patti, who then returned to the stage for the rest of the set.  As best as I recall, the setlist was:

The Horses album

Television Medley (I Sse No Evil>???>Marquee Moon)

Dancing Barefoot

Pissing In The River

Patti reads an Arthur Rimbaud poem

A tune from Horses in tribute to Jimi Hendrix they had accidentally skipped

Because The Night

Encore:  People Have The Power

While introducing the Hendrix tribute song they had skipped over, she mentioned how tonight was the actual release date of Horses, which was recorded at Electric Ladyland studios.  She said she had gotten a telephone call from the current head of Electric Ladyland to congratulate her earlier in the day.  She mentioned that today was also the 50th anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and how the Mariner Church in Detroit where she married Fred Smith always tolls one bell for each of the men who perished each year on the anniversary of the shipwreck.

Her voice was strong and her band was on top of their game.
