It really would be something if Phil could pull together a decent lineup again. Grahame Lesh and Friends is (mostly) hot garbage.

Even Jackie Greene would be a dramatic improvement at this point.

"t really would be something if Phil could pull together a decent lineup again. Grahame Lesh and Friends is (mostly) hot garbage."

That's your opinion and I for one do not share it.

To the extent Phil plays it will be with Grahame, that's for sure.

"It really would be something if Phil could pull together a decent lineup again. Grahame Lesh and Friends is (mostly) hot garbage."

You're really missing out and sadly mistaken by that broad, inaccurate statement. Jus' sayin'.....

Would love it if Phil did another September Colorado run.

"if Phil could pull together a decent lineup again"

Do you want him to play with John Mayer?

^LOL

(....even though he already has 'been there, done that')

I'd really like to have an entire PLF show in the Bay Area!

Phil, Molo, Casey, Hartwick is a good band IMHO

Who is the rhythm guitar player? Why should we care a lot?

The bandleader who we are paying to seems to like him

(Bob Weir has been busy and unavailable ....).

Duo set of Father and son posted on Viva recently was pretty good. He's not Hendrix but Grahame can play solidly  .... lots of good musicians around him and he raises his game on their wings

Molo is my favorite drummer there is.

any streams announced for these shows yet?

Try and name a band with a tighter rhythm section

Phil has "been" there for me more than he'll ever know

None that I could find

Next Wednesday is the 50th anniversary of the Watkins Glen soundcheck jam. I'm always floored by the series of ultra-low bone-rattling notes Phil unleashes near the start of this epic jam.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=km2MlSothJc

Got to the Glen just in time for the Soundcheck Jam, after multiple delays and breakdowns. Had our tickets out but found no gate, no fence, and nobody to give them to. The next half hour or so was one of the most memorable and sublime GD experiences that I have ever had.

Had tonight's show started?

It's listed as 1 set on Setlist . com, but I thought I heard Phil say they were taking a break, and I couldn't make out what he said at the end.  So i'm listing as 2 sets, it may have just been a piss break
