We’ve been hinting at it, but we’re ready to confirm that Phil Lesh & Amy Helm will be joining us at our album release party this Friday November 10 at the beautiful The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park!

Both of these wonderful folks were instrumental in the creation of our new album “Diamonds in the Zodiac” - Amy as our producer and Phil playing bass on multiple songs. Including the album centerpiece “Jupiter”

Good show, unfortunately it
Good show, unfortunately it was difficult to enjoy the music with all the incessant chatter. And yes, I asked the loud talkers to please stop with no success. Kinda sucks that the ADA seating is adjacent to the bar.
John's opening set was really good - and certainly Midnight North would have sounded better had he played the entire show with them. Elliot Peck is a powerhouse vocalist, and hearing her with Amy Helm was a bonus. But the guitar playing with this band is lacking.
Nice to see and hear Phil, of course.

Does the Sweetwater have a bunch of Venture capitalists and their young 'dates' getting drunk and hanging at the bar, clearly not there for the music, loudly talking throughout the concert? Then yeah, it would be the same.
when asked to STFU they said 'it's a bar' and ignored requests from multiple patrons who paid to be in the theater for the music.

This Thursday at the Club Fox with JK on guitar is tempting
I was really impressed with JK's opening set where he was laying down multiple tracks and playing with himself. :)
His guitar work was sounding very crisp and clear, unlike the muddled sounds coming from the main act. The obnoxious drunks certainly didn't add to the experience.
