SLESH Get On Board !

Whatup plf.  Love me some sless.

locals only...

Early to mid 50 year old white guys with Furthur shirts?

Just a comment on lack of notice when they have something of interest...

Do people wear particular shoes to TXR, for comfort?

>>>>Tickets $35

damn! I just spent my show money on a Butthole Surfers record for $40 plus shipping.

JR,

Will you please police Utahmountaingirl's, "Phil is heading to Boulder" thread.

There's a lot of low t and negatively going on!

pool guys can be custies too

This is the kind of show I would go to, need more advanced notice.

I wish it started just a little bit later: I have a meeting that ends at 8PM...

TXR Bicycle Day w Sless...

I'll be there tomorrow, and I was already looking forward to it before this announcement.

Phil & Stu have a good thing going between them because of all those 'year' shows they played together the last couple of years. And also of course because Stu is a damn good and very intuitive player. Barry should add a little punch to it. With the very groovy Cass McCombs already on guitar as well I would imagine Sless will be on the steel quite a bit, which is fine with me.

The "Thunder & Lightning" show I saw a couple of months ago went a little over two hours with a few songs that were the base for a lot of long jams. It was flowing and very trippy, just the way I like it.

Tomorrow should be just another rockin' good time in the little room.

I'll see some of you there!

Those of you in attendance: Please do your best to to delay the start time (ie: don't give any musicians cuts in the pre-show restroom line, etc).

Good to have something to look forward to.

I was on the fence for this one.  Sless makes it a no brainer IMO.

On another note: Reed Mathis and Friends in the Bar is sure to be a Weird Winner.  Hoping that they'll play a jam or two after the Phil show is over...

Glad you guys are going to the show! Wish I were there - I like that group.

KILLER SET LIST!!!!!!

^You were SO RIGHT, lltd!

Wonderful set list, tailored for this lineup.

Some memorable jams (UBC, St. Stephen, and TOO immediately come to my post-show-addled mind) and nice tunes to showcase Barry's pedal steel presence (The Wheel and Dire Wolf).

Barry actually played the axe most of the show and worked perfectly with Stu; turn-taking and intertwining were stellar.  Cass added a few nice guitar touches and generally did a good job of staying out of Sless/Allen's way.

This is the kind of show that re-energizes and reminds me to get off of my behind and GTTS.

So Grateful

Hope I get a chance to hear it.

Release the Boards!!!!

What do they have to hide?   cheeky
