Phil and Bob @ LOCKN'

Forums:

Playing Terrapin Station album. No word on others in the lineup.

>>>"Having Bobby and Phil perform Terrapin Station together is one of those moments that we created Lockn' for," festival promotor Peter Shapiro says. "I'm hoping it's a musical experience that Deadheads will be able to lose themselves into and then live on as a live recording that will create lasting magic for a long time after."

Read: We's gonna sells you the magics on the CDs!

The rest of the line up is the Family Band

Call me when they get Jerry in

Couldn't they get a top notch band for a big festival headlining slot? Come on.

Seriously.

It's like he isn't even trying anymore.

wow. haha.

awful.

Why not bring Guberman along and do In The Dark?

Sounds like vocals hell in the making.

OMG, who will sing Sunrise?

Disco Biscuits yesterday......Bob today.

Its like they want people to regret their decision  to get tickets.

lol.....

Sunrise - Donna Jean should be available.

Or the woman who performs at TXR with the family band often

Rolling Stoned needs fact checking as much as the Repugnant Party:

Working with producer Keith Olsen, who'd just produced Fleetwood Mac's self-titled debut...Debut album 1968, he produced their 10th.

it's not the first time the family band played Lockn...still another real deal phil and friends to b announced ( maybe w bob..who knows)..

where ever he goes the people all complain...

They already covered Terrapin Station with a much better band.  This seems kind of redundant.

Wouldn't it be easier for Phil to just start a gofundme page?

Yeah, that MFRJ lineup might actually be better.

at least as of this post, the above suggests that Phil and the Family Band are doing Terrapin;

so I think Grahame is playing with Uncle Bobby.

It's a musical orgy!

"Phil Lesh & Friends are expected to join moe. at the festival, while Weir is rumored to join other bands on the lineup."

Moonalice with Bob doing his new stuff seems likely.  Those songs sounded good when Bob sat in with DNB is Alaska.

They need a real lead player for this one weir graham and Ross James will be a little bland sounding

I think only the 3 K's have played the full Terrapin Suite with GD members: Karan, Kimock, & Kadlicik.

Oh, yeah, and Tom Hamilton with PhilRAD possibly, but his name doesn't begin with a 'K'.

The Family Band news is old......was in the txr announcement of 77 for 77 or some bs like that.

Phil, Bob, Barry

>>>Wouldn't it be easier for Phil to just start a gofundme page?

Lol

Ha Ha ALL The REAL Players Are GONE Much Like The PHILZONE ...

I Freaking Hate That Family Band Term ! SO........ Well CHEESY !

>> Phil, Bob, Barry

This would be A-OK

Since when was Keller Williams a headliner?

jesus, this is getting out of control

Keller's Grateful Grass is a Sunday morning staple of LOCKN' wit JK on geetar, no Jesus.

Where does it say he is headlining?

^^^^^

it doesn't..peeps like to complain even though the facts don't line up with their gripes..

same as it ever was...

"Yeah, that MFRJ lineup might actually be better."

Only if you're deaf, dumb, and blind.

That will be a great set, the Family Band rocks!

>>>>>Only if you're deaf, dumb, and blind.

Um, isn't the MFRJ lineup the same lineup as the Family Band?  I guess if you think adding Bobby makes a huge difference than maybe this is a better band but it's actually the same band, but with Bob Weir.
