Loved this run. Inspired playing, great scene.

Amazing shows (on tape, wasn't there). Love this band's sound and I'm fond of Chris' singing on most tunes, too. Jimmy is a beast WHEN he is accompanied by players of his caliber who push him towards greater things. In this case, Phil, Barry and Molitz definitely accomplished that. Was this the three tarot deck shows? Or am I confusing that with another year?

was there, and yes, i think there were tarot card posters given out?

The Kate Hudson shows

PhilLeshGaryHouston2004.jpg

they weren't giving them away but a few of us made the purchase smiley

I enjoyed these shows. They were a little disjointed IMO but this was first PLF run I saw that was not The Q since 2000 so there was a high bar(for me) . I really liked the 3rd night especially seeing Two Souls live.

Are these the shows that someone levitated at?

'03 PLQ couldn't be topped.....sans the night Weir showed up.

Balcony jumper was the crappy DVD show with Scofield.

I was referencing Juggy or someone else that had said they levitated during 04 shows.  05 was for sure the dvd w/scofield --- who I still hold in high regard but isn't a fit for GD music.     Phil needs to can the GD shit and move on. He could create a whole new scene at his place.

Some of the first shows I traveled north for. Excellent run.

Not in Marin.

people like FOTD

A Hedspace Sighting - Nice To See - I Miss Many Many Old Zoners and The Good Times We Had Then.

12-19    help>>>>>schlip   is one of the best - despite Robinson trying to clusterfuck the vocal

What's Become of the Baby was pretty fucking trippy. I know Phil was signing the song in English, but what i heard sounded like some esoteric alien language from another dimension..

yeah i know, drugs.. :)

Mighta been Popi.  I think he was excited to get out of the house.
