My extended family lost my
My extended family lost my dear Uncle Jose, a wonderful man from the island of Mauritius who was my mom's little sister's husband for the last 50+ years, a family patriarch to their children and grandchildren, a man of science, a sculptor, who loved his family, life, and had a wonderful sense of humor and grace, to kidney failure this morning. He was in hospice care and surrounded by his immediate family, as he waited until the first rays of the rising sun in Chattanooga to pass into eternity.
I see a lot of him in that setlist from last night. Phil and Cody's spirit shine a powerful beacon. Jose would have gotten a big laugh out of and loved the encore.
