Phil has been gone for a year

Forums:

It does not get easier.

Grahame did a nice job of picking up the torch this year, which helps.

When I opened this thread, this time seeing Phil with Railroad Earth was the first thing that came to mind

miss you Phil

I  miss Phil a lot RIP

He made a lot of us happy, for a lot of years.

Thank you for all the years Phil/  You passed the torch sooooooooooooo well to Grahame.  Thx a million.

Mr Phil Lesh was an embodiment of the human spirit, delivering sonic waves that elevated human consciousness. A celestine prophecy. Synchronicity in the highest form.

We were lucky to be awarded a golden ticket for the magic carpet ride.

Bittersweet watching video of what was.

That April 1999 first trio of shows was the start of a big part of my life for the next 25 years. Nokia runs, Beacon runs, Cap runs.....

His departure left a big hole.

Three top quality & highly successful musical "careers", a completely successful marriage & beautiful family, huge financial success, surviving and then thriving after a near-death experience, living large right 'till the end of his 84 years, with his influence carrying on.

'Successful' seems to be the word to describe the life of Phil Lesh.

Well done Phil.

Haha pressed jeans

Such a long, long time to be gone and a short time to be here.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

His status as one of the dandiest fashionistas in rock history cannot be easily dismissed. On many nights, nobody wore it better.

In the earliest days of this century, some of us called Phil The Maestro, and some of us still do.
