holy setlist Batman!

What an amazing night. Great venue, chill people, good time. Proof of Vax required so it felt safe.

Holly was awesome and there were some moments of pure magic.20210918_183714_copy_1024x576_0.jpg

Good stuff. Random observation -- Remember the days when just the sight of the boys taking the stage sent us into a joyful hollering frenzy ? This band hit the stage last night and you could practically hear a pin drop. Our generation got old.

Everything was just super chill but everyone was happy to be there. 3000 people spread out over 15 acres. There was a central crowd but plenty of space around the edges if that's what you needed.

Anybody know the max capacity at PB?

Buddy who works there told me 4500 for Rockygrass (their biggest show). He said P&F was 3500 (sold out).

Very nice venue. Went there in the mid 90's for the first few Folks Fests and a couple of 4 day pre-Festival Song Schools. Cool to head down to the river and see Greg Brown fishing. And when there's enough water folks float it. The kids love it. Sure sounds like a great time for everyone this weekend. So nice to see.

Phil said during donor rap that he never knew there were so many great, small venues in CO. He looked fantastic all weekend. The sound during last night's 2nd set was fantastic with calm air and great separation. Great tour, and I'd gladly make it my last Phil run, but wouldn't be surprised if we see the same tour next September with the changing aspens. What a great weekend of music and friends!!

So happy for the entire band, as they all just absolutely smoked all 3 shows. And especially happy for Stu, as he has definitely earned the opportunity to play with Phil, east of San Rafael. Phil looks and sounds amazing. And the quality of these streams was off the charts good. Wow!!!

Thanks for the info Highnote.

My girlfriend, who graduated CSU, has been to PB and RR.

I've never caught a CO show.

wang i so much love that you were there and had a magical time <3

Thanks. It was good for the soul. There's a sign on the way in that says "Find your tribe and love them hard".

It felt so good to be back among the tribe.

So, Phil has played a worthwhile show again?
With Graham, even?
OK, I will check out the free teaser....
I figured those years of Family Band spelled the end of the magic, or that's how it seemed to these ears at least.

I started w the 2nd set sneak peak, and I'm honestly delighted at how the Dark Star opened.
Awesome!

(((MIKE)))

Great week of Camping-Hiking-PLFing...

Three new venues for me:

Lyons -Best Sound

Dillon -Best Views

Vail -Most Intimate

I won't score the shows only to say they were great!

Lineup did not disappoint

Perfect weather, Aspen Peak-Peeping, kickass hikes  elk-rutting and great camping near venues

and we came home to a Dem governor

 haha

BTW... for the Zone's sake:

I hung with Bekim and Nick (Hikingman) all night at the Lyons show. Both are well and good and it was great to see them.

Still glowing.

Listened to the archived version last night and was pretty blown away.

Just wow.

Phil still brings it

Eight of my most-loved  tunes, all played very well, and the rest of 'em weren't too shabby either. Too many highlights to recount here - I'll just mention Til the Morning Comes and Mountain Jam as a couple of my favorites.

Thank you Mr. Lesh.

Nedb, would have been great to see a PZ contingent.

Interestingly It was liberating to be unrecognizable at these shows

yet by Lyons  many came up to to say hi...

haha

great all-around Colorado vibe
