Phil Lesh & Friends To Play Three Nights at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville

interesting.   Not sure I'll make the three hour drive but appreciate the heads up.

Definitely Family Band with the ticket prices.

Where do pre-sale codes come from?

Ford Ampitheater in Vail too, just one night (9/17)

Hoping maybe Shapiro can get him to play another east coast run -- or a one-off show at Central Park or something -- before the Cap run in October. I can't wait that long..

Anyone familiar with buying tickets from a Brooklyn Bowl venue? There's a mention of a presale but no info.

I went ahead and created an account with ticketweb.

Didn't see an option to save card info.

I plan to purchase tix the instant the public on-sale begins. Is it even plausible to get tix through the actual on-sale ?

The BB Nashville Facebook page says they'll provide the password before tomorrow's presale. I'm thinking they'll have a pretty limited presale allotment. They might have a 3-day pass which would be quick and easy but I can only go to Friday and Saturday, so going back for another order before they sell out may be a chore.

^^^^Thanks for pointing that out.

FB page says they'll post pre-sale code if you RSVP.

I guess that means click "going."

My guess for keyboards is Holly Bowling, considering what the other regulars are busy with.

I tried clicking on a couple things so hopefully it'll pop up in the morning. I don't know much about FB, I basically just have a burner account I created years ago lol.

If you happen upon the code in the morning, mind posting it here? I'll do the same if I see it.

^^^^Just checked and still don't see the code on the FB page yet.

Good luck Zoners!

Thanks, Weird!

I popped in here to do the same.

How'd you make out this morning, Weird?

I got in and out for Friday and Saturday quick and easy. Wish I could make Thursday too but things are crazy at work now. These will end up being tough tickets. Last time I saw Phil was at the Exit/In a few years ago so I'm pumped to see him in another small venue, even if it is the Family Band.

Long live Phil!

Glad you had good luck, Weird!

We got in for all three.

And you made it in the Exit/In! I found out about that show, here, 30 min after tix went on sale.

Haven't been to Exit/In since Kimock's last show there, maybe 2014.

Which means I owe Doolittle a big thank you. You are the reason I'm holding tix.

Glad you got in for all 3 brother. Getting that password was huge. I don't think many people knew about the presale. I bet the general sale sells out immediately tomorrow. I've been browsing hotels throughout the day and they're insane, even for Nashville. Probably gonna book the Millenium Maxwell House. It appears to have been nice at some point but has went downhill. I'm not dropping $400 a night to be near Broadway.

I had a buddy back out of the Exit/In show and threw my extra on Stubhub and it pretty much sold within seconds. That was a hot ticket show and I expect this one to be too. I'm not too familiar with this part of Nashville so it'll be nice to explore it. BTW, I live a couple hours north in Owensboro. How about you?

^^^^Murray, KY, just down the road from Terrapin Station. We're looking at the Maxwell too. A few pretty rough reviews. Nashville's always tough to book rooms without spending a fortune.

>>>>>My guess for keyboards is Holly Bowling.<<<<

I hope you're right. Is Molo in the conversation?

Tix still on sale.

Small world! I don't think I've ever been to Murray though. I'd like to make it to the lake area around there someday though. If you bring the doses to Nashville I got the cash! :)

What can the Zone tell me about Dawes?

Hahaha

who?

Looks like Phil's been scouting from Craigslist again.

people like the daweses.

Seems like he's helping new upstarts to keep the GD name and records sales flowing. Same as Weir.

I had guessed Nicki Bluhm would appear for at least a sit-in or join for a night, and I look forward to hearing that song "To Rise You Gotta Gotta Fall" with Phil.

Will any of these shows sell out?

The Goldsmiths are from Dawes, BTW.

>>>>people like the daweses.<<<<

They're playing The Ryman in Oct.

I tell you what...

These boys are growing on me a little bit.

Is it time yet to bring this thread back?

What a joke- they need to use the Clear app or expect all the anti vaxxers know how to use photoshop or a copy machine

Popped in here to pass along a heads-up about the vaccine requirement for these shows.

Thanks, Zooey.

>>>>What a joke- they need to use the Clear app or expect all the anti vaxxers know how to use photoshop or a copy machine<<<<

I have a vaccination card, and I had to look up Clear app. Is there a large anti-vax presence in the GD community?

This show seems like it's geared towards the txr community.

Free stream on Thursday.

Haven't been listening to much Dead lately. I'm pumped for this. Staying about 15 minutes away so I'm going to be mostly sober. Tossed the bear suit years ago but I have a bear/pentagram tat on my calf. Say hi.

Also, I'll be the guy who smells like a swimming pool.

Where's the link for the free stream?

I'm going to set up a show post, will have stream links

Watching with a broken heart. My cat and best friend Philadelphia had to be put to sleep today. 16.5 years old

So sorry, to read of your pained and broken heart, SeaMonster. I'm glad you and your wife are there together to help each other through.
