Werewolves Of London

god bless the current fans

Yeah, that's Graham's song, saw him do it in Portland in February.

I can make out most of the setlist, but I can't figure out what "Pulp Fiction" is supposed to be.

Was the Pulp Fiction? -

Thought it sounded nice on the stream but didn't hear PF.  Missed China Cat as I had to prepare Dawg's second course of Dinner.

Twiddle sounded good too.

Wow, interesting setlist. I was awake for Jed then crashed. I wish I hadn't.

jesus, who sings stella blue in this band?

^^^^

U don't know and yet u r ready to complain about it...sounds about right...

I've seen Elliott Peck sing it ...not sure if she sang it last night...

The Stella blew

the dishwasher sang

the opener is listed as “Rumble” on setlist.com

lol mckenna-yeah b/c this band is awful. they covered help! haha  amazing phil’s kid gets to play live across the country.

this is by far the worst/most unprofessional/saddest attempt at phil milking every last drop outta you sorry ass mother fuckers. have fun at halloween, lol.

Help On The Way

The opener Rumble>Masons>Rumble was hot as was the Stephen>WLOL>Stephen

Elliot Peck has pipes and along with Phil were the best on stage.

Phil seemed disengaged from time to time, but laid it down and drove the bus when needed.

Thought I'd see some zoney faces I haven't for some time, alas it was the usual suspects wink

haha, word. i see. you still coming up the VT this winter? hit me up man, burn some fattys n eat some food.

I will have fun at Halloween bud...and I'm sure you will be here bitching and moaning about it... oh well...it's your zone MO.... and I saw a lot of peeps having fun.....I guess they and me  r all custies and your a stay at home key board  warrior....

no, you got it twisted man. all good. fun is fun, no doubt. shitty music is still shitty music. i’m certainly no keyboard warrior, haha.

I will agree that it is one of Phil's worst bands over the last 20 years and Ross James has the vocal  Registry of a field mouse.....

Some moments r good some moments are horrible...

i hear you, mckenna.

>this is by far the worst/most unprofessional/saddest attempt at phil milking every last drop outta you sorry ass mother fuckers

I really think Phil is getting a little soft upstairs and is being manipulated by Shapiro. Phil could put enough fannys in the seats at Portchester if he was traveling with a boxing cockroach act.

He's surrounded by folks looking to line their pockets including, but certainly not limited to, his bandmates.

Reminds me of Willie Mays in the latter part of his career.

But doesn't this happen with everyone?  And who surrounds themselves with people that are willing to tell them to hang it up or make wholesale changes?

The GD brand will never die and people will make money playing their music long after we are all dead and gone. If Phil isn't getting the checks some one else will be.

I'll be a bit more charitable and guess that at this point Phil just wants to play with his kid and make the entire operation as easy and painless as possible.  Minimal rehearsal time, show up and play the gig and leave.  I can understand that at his age he's trying to get the most out of a minimum effort, and he's certainly earned it.  I'm just glad that I had the opportunity to see him when he was more committed to the music.  Fifteen years ago the thought of missing a Philadelphia Phil show was unthinkable for me, now I'm actually glad that he's making it easy to stay home.  I've had my Phil, and I'm Grateful for it.

Have to agree for the most part. Phil can still bring it, but not as often as I would like. Phil used to be a must-see - now he's a must listen to on the free stream if I don't forget or fall asleep. I still love Phil for what he's done and what he still does occasionally, but this band sure makes it easy to stay home.

I don't mind Grahame, but if Phil could switch RMFJ out for Law or Allen and DW (dishwasher) for Lipp or someone of equal talent - then you got a band.

I haven't listened to anything Phil has done in nearly 5 years.  Once nepotism and the dishwashers got in the mix, I bailed.

However, I will say the Bobby and Phil Duo's show had me suprisingly interested.

Been listening to the Pac NW box-set lately,  but listened to Apollo NYC & Philadelphia streams.  I think they did a fine job remastering those '73-'74 Pac NW shows.

I haven't listened to anything in five year's...

Stopped reading......

"I think they did a fine job remastering those '73-'74 Pac NW shows."

Mine just arrived, put the Dark Star from 6/24/73 on and WOW you're not kidding.  Separation and clarity are amazing.

What was the best Phil show in the last 5 years?

Was Nelson and Phil less than 5 years ago..if so ....those shows...

agreed, the pnw box set is super nice.
