I've done it a couple times- Haynes/Scofield and CRB with Phil, but the novelty of a Central Park show is over- especially standing all night in a huge blob of people.
Song selection looks nothing short of fantastic. Beam me aboard Scotty. Even though the band itself does not thrill me vocally they can jam and entertain. And for the few hours in attendance one can get lost in the moment, dance, smile and rock out. Not a band i would get psyched to travel far off the beaten path for but fun none the less. Glad Phil is still thumping and dropping bombs. Hoping Phil invites old friends to the club house in the near future.
Long live Phil $ Friends, the Q and 4 ever the Grateful Dead.

I think I'll wait for either LMA or a yootoob w/decent audio (and perhaps no Cloverfield-type video).
While I don't share the disdain many here have for TFB, I'm not burning a shift/tix worth to see them either.
They still around Saturday? Never mind; I'll poke around.

You see? It's magic!!
Cap was sold out temporarily while Peter made a last ditch effort to sell some more Central Park tickets.
Central Park has started so now he put them back up.
Peter can teach even the most crooked snake oil salesman a few new tricks.
