Thanks for scorekeeping, Noodler.

Looks killer diller.  Hope you folks got your faces ripped off!

Yes, thanks, Noodler.

I actually watched the webcast and enjoyed much of it. (Thanks, Moses) What I didn't find was grit, and especially the He's Gone, a meaningful song to me, was too neat and tidy, missing the raw emotion I want to hear. Maybe rawness is what I was missing throughout the evening. Reedy vocals don't do it for me... I want guts. Mind you, I did like a lot of it. Great to hear and see Molo!

Okay, enough wishing. I'm glad I got to hear them. Go Phil!

Does he no longer do a "donor rap"?

Who sang dew?

Man, if the GD had done a show with that set list I'd have ascended to nirvana.

Saw this lineup 10/22. Jennifer Hartswick sang Dew

Cool, as long as they didn't Grahame those crackers it's all good, brah

Dear prudence......

wow man. Fuck.

street cats blowin John Coltrane in the rain. Magic. Look around round round......

Turtle, you're high

On plane. No sleep, cold shower, no hot water...cold ivory soap acid shower. Ruff

Well that was two nights of a  whole lotta fun. I have a feeling were going to be spending a lot more Phil time at the Warfield in the near future. Great band,  the two guitarist really played together well. Phil and Molo are just PB&J and the horns were big fun with sometimes spectacular vocals.(((What it is, what it is, what it is))) ...will there be a Bday party next??? Hope to see ya there...

Put the psychedelic jack in the box back in the fuselage

member Jerry?

Oh yeah. Motherfuckin John molo.

Goddamn right John molo, u filthy degenerate!

 >>>> I have a feeling were going to be spending a lot more Phil time at the Warfield in the near future.

From your lips to god's ears, my friend

Hey wasn't this the first time Phil's played his sassy txr alembic at the warfield?

how did that sound?

seemed pretty nice and boomy on my studio cans at home

Too few >'s in the set list, let alone any Jam >'s.

The Here Comes Sunshine was the highlight for me (streaming).

R u telling me that terrapin wasn't > into dew?

for I shall b outraged if it t'wasnt!

No outrage Bro

Last nite was the kind of energy that keeps me coming back for more.
Haven't felt that since TXR closed.

Thank you Phil and Phriends.

Come back soon.

Some great > from He's Gone to CR&S.

Sit down n patch my bones

I'm weeping from that prudence. Brother did it proper. Moved to tears. Absolutely beautiful

Fun to see some Phil show afterglow on the black screen.

Sounds like it was a good, fun couple of nights.

Due fo circumstances and a general malaise I missed them both. Sigh.

I have been to a few shows in my time though, so I don't feel too bad.

Phil looks and sounds great, long live THAT guy.

And long live you folks, and keep GOING TO THE SHOW!!!!!

The Dear Prudence didn't seem to come across quite as beautifully and powerfully on the stream. Watching Phil's and Molo's appreciation as it ended was sweet and had its own power.

Lance would say something like GTTS, the stream doesn't carry the full deal.

(I was saying what you might say as you were saying what you did say, Lance.)

I've never been crazy about covers of prudence, I'm not even huge on the original so I can understand what Judit is saying.

feel like I need to hear this one though since turtle is still openly weeping about it.

Warfield female harmony backup vox give u some jgb flashbacks or somethin, brah?

King Solomon's. In this economy. The whole econoline is loaded.

Thanks for the Silverman links. Guy does a great video!

molos playing was just fucking incredible. Dude.

loved the entire horn section. I like guacamole in my dead burrito.

You guys know Jerry made prudence his own, our own, ya?
You are part of everything..

the spirit was thick in the house.

I found it interesting that Phil used the horn section as more of a choir this time around.  All 3 sang lead on tunes too, which I thought were great!  I tend to agree that Grahams singing has a vibrato / timbre that takes some adjusting too. He reminds me a bit of "Tiny Tim", LOL    (Poor Graham keeps getting better and better, while the phans are still searching for the sound, FWIW Jerry didn't exactly win them over with his voice either when he was young)

I really liked having Rick and the "horn choir" do the singing for a large part of the show.

Marcus King was the best male vocalist to come thru in a while IMHO, but James and Jennifers lead vocals really work for me, love it!  I paid a lot more attention to Natalies lead vocals this time, and I'm cool with it.

Did anyone else catch the massive Phil bombs second set? - especially during Truckin.

He was on fire last nite!

Great to see so many zoners turn out.

I mean I don't even really like the Beatles that much.

>>>Marcus King was the best male vocalist to come thru in a while IMHo

Possibly, not a bad guitar player either but still, him not being in this lineup is one of my favorite aspects of it.

>>>u guys know Jerry made prudence his own, our own, ya?
You are part of everything..

I'm aware and I'm sure seeing him perform it, particularly in a venue like the warfield, would have been nothing shy of a religious experience.

but I don't know nothing bout seeing no Garcia; I'm just a late 90's Phil kid with a bad attitude.

But do go on, uncle turtle, I'm loving your still tripping spirit posting lol

>>>>>>>>Marcus King was the best male vocalist to come thru in a while IMHo

Yeah but who wants to look at him while they're tripping.  Dudes weird looking.

I guess that explains why I never dose to Lyle Lovett...

lol

>>>I don't even really like the Beatles that much.

yeah, they're only arguably the greatest and most influential pop-rock group of all time.

no big whoop

Fun show. If I still manage to avoid Covid after that show I might donate my body to medical science. Loved the line up and have to agree on the Prudence it was one for the ages. Really enjoyed this line up.

Rick has had quite the coming out party this year with the Trey and Phil stamps of approval. I can only imagine the money swirling around that band now as people look to fill the 2024 void left by Dead & Co.
