Phish Sphere

Ugly Rumors say the dates are about to drop

Rumors say April / May. Wizard of Oz is playing daily right through next year, but the weekend shows are all matinees, so they can probably get the band in there afterwards.

Looking forward to getting rejected in the lottery again.

Rumor is 3 x 3:

4/16-18
4/23-25
4/30-5/2

My guess is they will announce 12/2, the Tuesday after Trey's tour ends.

Yeah I was like 5800th in line for Trey tix last time. Saw some hacker dude on insta teaching how to jump that line by doing a couple cut n pastes of the code on one of the ticket sites. You may wanna look into hat

Sphere was a flat-out advance lottery, so unless there's a hacker trick to that, it's cross yer fingers.

Find a bunch of friends who don't want to go and get them to submit.

I'm mixed on this - have yet to go to the sphere and can't stomach DC.  This seems like the best current opportunity.

>>>Wizard of Oz is playing daily right through next year, but the weekend shows are all matinees

Man they better have thermal imaging capabilities in there if they are going to have an Oz matinee before a Phish show.

Bring a yellow vest and clipboard and you should be good to go.

My friend snuck down to the floor from the 300's during Dead & Co because they recycled the wrist band colors.

I thought higher was supposed to be better?

>>>I thought higher was supposed to be better?

She wanted to see if she could do it and to hang out for a while. 300's are great unless you get a group of talkers around you that you can't get away from then it sucks. The sound is the same on the floor plus you can move away from the talkers and the visuals are like looking at a crazy sky. All you have to do is look up.

We're excited to announce Phish’s return to Sphere in Las Vegas, NV for nine shows across three weekends in 2026: April 16–18, April 23–25, and April 30–May 2.

PHISH SPHERE 2026
• April 16, 17, 18 - Sphere, Las Vegas, NV
• April 23, 24, 25 - Sphere, Las Vegas, NV
• April 30, May 1, 2 - Sphere, Las Vegas, NV

Speaking of the Sphere. In Shreveport, close to me Curtis 50 cent Jackson is building a scaled down version of the Las  Vegas Sphere.  I'm guessing smaller versions will be the new thing across the country.

That is interesting I guess the cost is coming down, smaller seems much more difficult to pay off if anything I would expect bigger, but with the Oz and U2 movies and more content all the time it probably makes more economic sense now.

Zooey, DaBreeze and Zang were correct all along-

Thx Zoner Phriends!

Now that I've seen the prices, hard pass.

Yeah, I'm really surprised at those prices. Phish has always kept their prices at the low end of their popularity level, and often lower than that.

I was curious so I talked with a Phish head friend who works in Vegas and is deeply connected to how all this works and he said that despite selling out all the shows at lower prices Phish lost big money on their first set of shows at the Sphere.

Apparently at that venue the band is responsible and pays for the entire video display, which is really expensive, and unlike other bands who have played there and have used variations of the same video every night, Phish had different content for every show. Knowing them they're probably going to do it that way again and don't want to take another bath.

Personally I think that's ridiculous. I haven't been to the Hallowed Sphere and maybe it's the eighth wonder of the world, but in my opinion, if they don't want to tour they should just do a residency in a normal venue for half the price. In Phish's case I don't think that would hurt ticket sales.

But no one listens to me.

No spot taken (unless my friend gets me a comp) but have fun if you go!!!

Yes it's expensive.

There are alot of TM service fees included in the lottery tickets price: $172 fee for each 3 day pass.
Maybe cheaper in the general public sale?

I looked at tickets yesterday, and they did have some for $140, but you couldn't just choose those. Instead, you had to pick a range of prices, which I thought was pretty strange.

In general, I think its pretty lame that you can't just buy what you want- gotta take what they give you instead.

Yeah, those TM fees are a gouge, no surprise there, and it looks like they're only offering the two higher levels on their lottery so there will be some lower prices for the general on-sale.

What is surprising is why they chose/agreed to use TM for their lottery system, which they usually negotiate to have full control over. I saw the official reasoning about keeping bots at bay (which makes no sense if they run a lottery in-house) and general efficiency, and there's some validity to that, but I wonder how much pressure was on from TM & the venue to use TM exclusively.

Bottom line is it's always about the bottom line, and the band is certainly making more/spending less by going this way.

I put in for one weekend run just because it's around my birthday but have no expectations of winning and won't be jumping through any hoops to get there for this when I don't win.

I would imagine they won't start from scratch on the visuals, but will blend in some old with some new like Dead $ Co. did on their second run. I would be surprised if they didn't always view the first shows as a loss leader to create content that can be reused down the road. Unless they plan on doing weekday shows these will be it since No Doubt and then Kenny Chesney are booked up until July.

Honestly my biggest problem with these shows is giving any more money to Miriam Adelson but impossible to avoid when there is only one Sphere in the world.

Miriam Adelson  >>>>>

Billionaire Miriam Adelson Plans to .... From one "See You Next Tuesday" to another.....That's the Presidential Medal of Freedom

Young man in pain vomiting, vector ...          Vomit Stock Illustrations – 4,102 Vomit ...

Way too expensive and I'll probably get shut out on the lottery...

See you there.

 but impossible to avoid <<<<

It's really pretty easy.  Just don't go.

Don't plan on going anytime soon with the exception of Phish with face value tickets, Chemical Brothers, Underworld, David Byrne, Peter Gabriel, Laurie Anderson, and Bjork. So I doubt I will be back anytime soon.

I put in for one lottery ticket, but as Treeflo said, probably get shut out (see ya there anyway)

Any other West Coast rumors?

I read on Facebook that people were getting their orders confirmed this morning.

Crickets here.

A few people on Phish.net said they got 3 day passes confirmation this morning (Dec 9) around 10 am.

I sucked it up and applied for a 3 day pass on the lower pricing tier for the second weekend, but I can take it or leave it.

nuthin here yet either

Nada from here.   Buddy got a package and had tix in his hands immediately.

I'm good with missing though.  I'm getting whiffs of something else brewing this spring that has my attention.

Sniff, sniff......

Shut out as usual indecision

Shut out but will be there for David Byrne

Also skunked. Just like every other time.

Deeee- niiieeeed...

Waaaah- waaah

Seems like they don't even send rejection emails to everyone now. I found out by checking my 'status' (although maybe they knew that I knew I was hooped so didn't bother).

I wonder what the odds really are. I'm guessing 1 in 50, maybe.

Imagine the demand if they were still a great rock band. Holy guacamole!

i've saved a lot of money

I would have enjoyed going but agree that I'm happy I've saved some money.

Fk TM !!

I think they glitch the game to make it impossible.

" your browser has been suspended due to

suspicious activity"

- Now your Fkd

I've had that happen ^^^

logging out and disconnecting from WiFi, then logging back in from a browser and not the app has gotten me around it. I buy a lot of tickets and sometimes multiple shows and bands on same day, drives me nuts that they ID me as the bot that I'm actually competing against..

Thx for that Fish. After talking with TM customer support today they indicated that  our use of a VPN protection app was the reason for our account being disabled although it never said it was actually disabled, just didb't work. We had to start new accts with different emails. We travel a lot and use the VPN for protection from internet hackers. Funny that protection from hackers flags you as suspicious.
