I'm listening to the last Maria Muldaur run in 1978.

Warner Theatre, DC - March 18, 1978 - is a good one (an official Pure Jerry release)

Ahh - the Travis Bean years.

one of my least favorite guitars that he played

yes, yes it does.  Jerry for all!!!

This place needs 77 Jerry bands. Not one more or less.

Cubensis, Remnants of Eden and Sons of The Dead were the first three that I saw.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the Travis Bean either.  All those late JGB shows would end around 3 in the morning, and sometimes later!

...not JGB, but Jerry played a different Travis Bean (1000A #715) with the GD on Dec. 13, 1978 in Tampa, FL - that guitar sounded great to me

Donna Jean not at the show, closes with Not Fade Away.

You Tube is a fantastic streaming source for quality 70's Garcia soundboards.

"Garcia band is nice and mellow... I listen to it at night to help me fall asleep."

- Philzoner Poncho

Yeah, This one took so long, because I kept falling asleep through screenings. Its a full show, with no audio edits. Took forever..

I did not go this show. I purchased the poster for the show at cool record store in Massapequa Long Island in 1981.

The same day, I purchased Nils Lofgren's "Wonderland"

The poster was not sale, I had to beg for the owner to sell it me. Its the master art work, made with magic markers from "real students" haha

Would much rather see old, grainy footage of Jerry

I am am sure a 39 year old bearded man, undressing is all about you.

I take Faye, thank you.

Said nothing about jerry undressing. Strange that you chose to write that. Please do not project your nonsense at me.

Just saying that i would rather see concert footage than a film student type assemblage of stock footage.

Oh I know / knew was just kidding.

Dreary day out here, like London

Ok now this is interesting. I love Nov/Dec. 1978. The setlists are boring but the playing is so good. You can hear the Travis Bean on the soundboard. The guitar is sharper and trebly but sounds great. Tennessee Jed sounds like 1976

Listening to 12/12/78 it doesn't sound like he's using it there but who knows

I believe that he only used that particular Travis Bean at 3 shows in 1978:

Tampa, FL 12/13/78

Birmingham, AL 12/15/78

Nashville, TN 12/16/78

Hotnanny; Cool Beans!
