While Kamela Harris was at Rosalyn Carters memorial making her unavailable to cast a tie breaking vote. One of Biden's top Labor Department nominees went down on the Senate floor on Tuesday after Sens. Joe Manchin and Bob Menendez voted with Republicans to block the nomination.
The final vote was 44-51. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer switched his vote to no, which will allow him to bring up Rodriguez for another vote in the future.
Which means they did this just to be dicks. They know they will be overturned.
