Is that password (HBDPHIL)  good for anybody at both ticketmaster and live nation, or do I need to sign in to some special club in order to have the right to use that password? thanks for the help, I'm definitely ticket challenged these days. but don't want to miss this presale.  Are my chances better through ticketmaster, live nation, or the box office at the Cap?  Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions on securing tickets this monday. 

Just talked to a helpful guy at the Cap.  He said to use ticketmaster. com as the best bet to get tickets.  And he confirmed the HBDPHIL  presale password.  So I'm not going to try box office or live nation, but going online at 9:30 to ticketmaster .com.  Just updated all my info there and hoping for the best.

Awwww, thanks for the kind words, Coyotte -- always nice to hear!  It would be fun to hang out with the easties for sure... I was going to try and share a space with Jill but it's too large of a space to make it work from a cost angle -- needed at least 2-3 more people. 

If you organize a pre-show gathering, I encourage ya'll to Facetime me before you go to the show!  I would get a kick out of that! 

When all the pieces of the trip planning become too complicated / overwhelming (expensive flights, bad flight routings, expensive lodging, etc) my strategy is to simplify. 

I've seen the Q and hopefully there'll be other opportunities that are announced with enough planning time to get a decent flight at the right price.   
Portland is a great airport, but sometimes routing with airmiles is a pain from here.... and my idea to fly out of SFO > HPN was also too expensive. 

I'll be more than happy w/ 1 Phil show this week and a DNB road trip at the end of Feb. 

My work project is pretty intense and even though my supervisor had approved all this time away at the last minute, he was certainly happy when I cancelled the 2nd week! 
We are a team of 3 serving a much larger team and I'm the only team member w/ media relations authority. 

My decision stands -- it's the best balance for me at this time.

If you're driving, there's the Hyatt and other hotels in the area.

If you are staying in the city, it's an easy train back to Grand Central Terminal.

For someone who has never been to the Capital, nor never set foot in NYC, where would you recommend I stay?  I will be coming from central PA and can either drive or take the train.  I am thinking of coming over on Wednesday, and spending a couple of days and nights seeing NYC with the wife after the shows.

Went to the Halloween show in 2022. I stayed in midtown Manhattan and took the train to the show. There is a train back to the city all night about once an hour. i was back at Grand Central Terminal by about 2am. It was easy as could be. I have only visited New York twice (both in 2022) and immediately fell in love with it. So wish I could come for the Phil shows next month. Have a blast!

3 great nights in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the land of Carolyn Wright, Frank Stanford, and Lucinda Williams.

Also, I stayed at Stamford La Quinta for the 2015 Phil/D Nelson run.

It helped me decide on Philton a couple years later, but at the time at least, La Quinta was survivable!

For future, The Amsterdam in Stamford is just off 95 and only 8 miles from Cap, very clean, wonderful staff and only 95.00 with fees. I have been using Hotels.com for years on a reccommendation from David ( Furthur days)...so I had a 170.00 credit...whoo hoo !
