Radio City - Sphere Sound

Just saw a post on Reddit that said they will be installing the directional sound in Radio City. After 5 shows at the Sphere I have gone full circle on this new technology and I'm not convinced it's the next step in sound. It is great for clarity but lacks the power you associate with rock sound, but really the biggest downside is for whatever reason you can clearly hear every conversation around you. I think it would be great for someone like King Crimson or what Bjork is doing these days but for rock not so much. Maybe it will be better when they don't have to adjust for playing inside a ball.
