I couldn't find The Sherman Bros Disney double lp but I got Disney Songs The Satchmo Way.

Also got the GoodOld Boys Live and Johnny Thunders Que Sera, Sera.

Picked up a Siouxsie and The Banshees boot and some Mekons albums as well.

And Trout Mask Replica because I couldn't find that Sherman Bros.

Can affordable housing be built out of Vinyl ?

I love analog music.

I buy mostly used albums. The sound is great but the skips and and dirt are a pain.

Why haven't they discovered a material that's harder than vinyl and less of a dust attractor, but still soft enough to turn into a record?

Actually, why didn't they/can't they make a disc that's recorded and played back in analog, but is read by lasers instead of a stylus and is covered by transparent coating that protects the grooves.

Hey - it's called a laser disc!

Me too surfdead, it’s the hunt and the discovery of unknown and/or obscure material that keeps me spinning records. Clicking on any music I want and then listening to it in a dumbed-down hollow format just isn’t really very enjoyable to me.

this RSD I bought Green Day from Woodstock 94. It was my first festival with no adult supervision, but on the second day, I did discover super-vision.

The best used vinyl (most consistent pressing & mastering anyways = most enjoyable) that I look for are on:

arhoolie

wand

fantasy

alligator

round

rounder

flying fish

sugar hill

vanguard
