Tomorrow is the NHL expansion draft for the Seattle Kraken who will start play this Fall at the remodeled Climate Pledge Arena (formerly known as The Key Arena).
They are having a big ceremony at Gasworks Park on the north shore of Lake Union that will be televised live on ESPN tomorrow, and have invited several of Seattle's most famous athletes to participate. Marshawn Lynch, Sue Bird, and Shawn Kemp have all been announced. Rumor is that "The Glove", Gary Payton will be there. I just had Nate McMillan, aka "Mr. Sonic", the current head coach of the Atlanta Hawks down in my store. I'm guessing he'll be part of the festivities too.
The weather will be perfect tomorrow, and this should go down as a great day for Seattle!

Supposedly, Eberle's contract with the Islanders is big so fans are saying good move to free up $23.5 million in cap space. I don't keep up with this stuff much. Just repeating what I read.
