Aw, jeez, Rick...does anyone here watch this show? My kids turned me on to it.
It's basically about the adventures of a inter-dimensional traveling alcoholic scientist and his grandson.
The character Mr. Meeseeks and his famous line: "I'm Mr. Meeseeks! Look at me!" - reminds of me of one or two of our favorite attention whores.

Yes, some of the origins of
Yes, some of the origins of the show are based on a parody of Back to The Future. Show creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon used the two characters from a parody that Roiland had made and turned it into Rick & Morty.
Show makes me laugh often - although with characters like Mr. Poopy Butthole - it is clearly not for everyone.

very clever shoe! It makes me giggle. At NY Comic Con, Rick & Morty was very popular. Lots of displays, cosplay, books, schwag, etc. So much Rick and Morty that it was noticeable. All I wanted was some squidbillies love but I guess R&M is widely popular. schlopio peepio yo!
