It was weird to see this news this morning, because on Saturday my brother was skiing Aspen and was at the top of

the mountain when he randomly ran into the Stanley Cup. The owner of the Colorado Rockies had brought it up there and my bro got

to check it out and touch it (this is big for us, we both grew up playing hockey in the '70's in NY).27899F2C-F2D4-4186-95D3-136C2D740608.jpeg

   The "handler" said you can touch it but you can't hoist it over your head.

Naturally right before he can get a photo next to the cup, two knuckle heads come up and try to hoist the Cup, which is when dude pulls

the plug and says we're out of here, and loads it back into the gondola for the trip back down. 

 

RIP Bobby Hull, whose name is of course on the Cup...
