RIP Fresh Kid Ice - Nasty Rappers

Chris Wong Won (aka "Fresh Kid Ice" & "The Chinaman") just passed away.  He was an original member of the notorious 2 Live Crew, whose raps were so nasty that they (and people caught selling their records) were arrested on obscenity charges in their home state of Florida.  

Eventually, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit overturned the obscenity ruling of the lower courts, but the band ended up being successfully sued by Van Halen and George Lucas for various copyright infringement. 

Don't listen to nasty rap much (do like the original nasty rapper Blowfly who passed awy last year) but here's to a genuine champion of free speech and dirty rhymes.
