RIP Gene Cernan

Last man to walk on the moon.

Good doc on netflix.

Wrote his daughter's initials on the moon.

Astronauts were heroes to me and my friends we were pre-teens. It's sad to see them aging to the point of passing now.
These intrepid pioneers, going into the unknown and doing the unimaginable always filled me with awe.
RIP Captain Cernan.

Alex Jones thinks all the loose ends are tied up now.

I think that the Apollo space program was the greatest ever TV series. The whole "Moon-Landing" drama took away a lot of attention from the reality of Kissinger, Nixon and the cartel bombing the heck out of Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam.

Did they actually manage to rocket up to Moon orbit with Saturn rocket, launch Lunar lander, piddle around on our Moon with cameras and dune buggies ??

Maybe so, maybe not. But if so, they were quite lucky to land perfectly, and then blast off from the Moon to re-dock with command rocket, which they  hooked up  with perfectly each time, in orbit, and made it back to Earth.

Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins press conference after Apollo 11 mission.

Boy are they are fucking stoked having achieved the greatest feat in the history of humanity!

The whole space program was such a big part of growing up in the 60s.what an achievement. So fucked up that some people are ingnorant enough to believe the fake B.S. R.I.P. to the last man to have walked on the moon. That Netflix doc is excellent.

Jack Parsons and Werner von Braun were instrumental to the space program. You know anything about them?

A cool Buzz Aldrin narrative on Hank's HBO to the moon thing.

After Armstrong had his moment when Buzz climbed down the ladder(filmed) he says, " When I pause here I am peeing."

"I didn't want to be the first man to pee on the moon."

On the film he pauses and holds one leg out away from the ladder like.....

RIP Gene

Really enjoyed the doc on Netflix. Cernan was a true cowboy, a hero, and a legend.

Rest in Peace.
