My brother worked with her in Africa and at Stanford in the mid 70's. I got to visit her chimp thingy (most word choices would be harsh) at Stanford. Some Zaire nationalists raided their African camp (my brother escaped into the jungle), which led to us visiting Africa in '75.... Many stories, but a happy ending. I've got mixed feelings, but RIP for all the good she did.
