Hearing this news it hit me hard how much positive influence this man had on my emotional and musical life. Rest in peace and power.

RIP Jimmy ........................................................Cliff

Wonder if Trey will pay tribute tomm

Jimmy was a Reggae Star. As a Muslim, his vibe was.a little different than the Rastas and the predominantly. Christian Jamaican populace.  Saw him some 30 years ago  at  Wolftrap Farm Park's Filene Center in Vienna, Virginia following a Harry Belafonte set.   He  danced a lot.  Think that  was  the only time I saw him.

RIP Jimmy Cliff.

I've seen my share of reggae and I've never been a fan, but I did see Cliff once and really enjoyed it.

He certainly made his mark.

We come and we go.

On it goes.
