our tuxedo sister of Garcia(!) lost her fight with fucked up disease last night, after what had been originally deemed a successful surgery

"funny" how the vet called and i knew it was just an update message so i let it ring thru

then it rang again 5 minutes later and i knew the news was gonna be bad

the worst part is she was overnight there tuesday and last night, as her surgery of tuesday was put off until yesterday. we could have brought her home but figured we would just bring her home after surgery.

still, i had a sick feeling she wasn't coming home when i dropped her off tue morning. i held her and held her from the time we got to the vet until she was taken in, and thankfully we had those last cuddles

her bday was 3.12.16, Hannah and I went to the Quakertown spca to get a female specifically, and her original name was Beetle (as in, Juice, as in Howard Stern) My Bean took a liking to her, and then we saw her brother who was cosmically named Garcia, and we knew the pair were coming home with us.

words cannot describe her pure sweetness. there was not a mean bone in her body, she was ALLLOVE.

so many nights she slept on the same spot on my hip, and, even when flipping over, she would adapt. 

we buried her this day after Alex got home from work, in the little plot where our Stormy is buried, after he succumbed to fucking kidney failure so way much too young, in the spring.
