Went out on the Outlaw Cruise from a cardiac event at age 66, after delivering a show and having one last party the night before. A little reminiscent of Col. Bruce Hampton's swan song a few years ago.
Mojo & Skid Roper helped keep things real during the over-synthed 80's. I enjoyed their irreverence and twangy hopped up Rockabilly-infused tunes with many a cold beer and a bong-hit.

I remember he was a guest "VJ" on MTV in the early 80's. Left the network after they refused to play his video for "Debbie Gibson Is Pregnant with My Two-Headed Love Child"

It's a misheard lyric for me, but I always heard "Elvis eats boats," not "Elvis needs boats," and I still like my version better.
