a great read on a great man, if I make it to retirement you will see me working at Habitat for Humanity, always respected this man for walking the walk he talked

Great doc. They even got Dylan to appear on camera, and Garth Brooks actually seems like a decent human being. Jimmy's fault as a politician was that he was too much of a humanist and always opted to do the right thing rather than play politics - which was his eventual undoing with the Iran hostage thing. He was really a victim of circumstance.

One sidenote is: the Iranians were willing to let the hostages go while Carter was still in office, and running for a second term, but the Reagan camp made a secret deal to have them released on  inauguration day, thereby thwarting Carter's re-election bid, and making Reagan look effectual as president.

Didn't Willie get high on the White House roof while visiting Carter? I can't wait to see this, where is it showing?

CNN has the rights to it and aired it a few weeks ago, but will probably air it again. It's also on Amazon Prime Video.
