Good morning Bryen.

I'm checking out the youtube link and would be more than happy to have a discussion with you.

Just barely in and I'm thrilled to hear/see trombone in the mix.  I played trombone for years and love the tone.

Thanks for sharing,

John

Tune #2 sounded like fairly bland ska, perhaps a bit in the vein of Lindley, though he did it with better wit and energy.

Tune #3 is back to reggae, which I prefer from this band (so far).

How has your day gone, Bryen?

I was at this show. Rod & The Ideals were white boy reggae at it's finest.
Saw a few more Rod shows as years went on in the Emerald Triangle.
Meet him personally & shook his hand the day before he overdosed on the big H.

RIP Rod Deal.....crying

Can we at least get the highlights?

Hey BudBoy!  Good to see you!  I hope that you and yours are well and that you are enjoying adventures, big and small.

Things really started to pick up, starting with song #3 and I really enjoyed the intensity of the jamming in "Lost in the Hills" and "Herbacide Danger" (approx 20-30 minute range).

My favorites for the show, in general were the horns and the shredding lead guitarist.

Sounds' like Rod's was another tragic musical/personal loss.  My condolences.

Bryen: What are your thoughts regarding this show?

...please discuss  wink
