Telecommunications act of 1986 I believe, which among other things permits one person or company to own multiple media outlets in the same market. Anti-competitive, monopolistic, and is the reason why 5 corps own all media, Murdock and Fox the largest. A few record companies instead of hundreds. Death of independent radio.
Repeal of the Fairness Doctrine which allows editorials to be presented as news, or in simply language...Fox News, Limbaugh, and their ilk.
