It was way more chill than I expected Friday was a beautiful day in a beautiful place with beautiful sound

Imagine people smiling and dancing who da thunk

Phil's Wall of Sound bass, Omega, newly refurbished, got an outing on stage last night, along with Alembic #001, which used to belong to Jack Casady. Pic is from FB, not me.

I got to chat with Dino From the PhilZone for a second

We went yesterday for last show on the run. The setting was perfect and the scene was super chill and relaxing. It felt so good to be with friends again for first time in over a year and to feel the hippie vibe of the Santa Cruz mountains and the force of loud well played Grateful Dead music and the way it makes people dance and be happy. This had all stamps of authenticity with that and for me DSO delivers like no other band out there doing it. I like my dead to stay true and whatever era they choose from night to night, they are the best at this at every position IMO.

Would love to see pics of how it all looked.  Glad you had a grate time!
