Rolling Stones Hackney Diamonds Tour 2024

Forums:

Rumored locations of all the venues are up,if not all the exact dates yet:

 https://iorr.org/tour24/

Seattle is a no-brainer and I may see them in New Orleans if a Jazzfest date happens.

MetLife Stadium May 23rd, and possibly a 2nd date. But it's the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend, traffic should be insane.

But I'll still be there. Looks like the official tour announcement is on Tuesday Nov. 21st?

I'm out...terrible timing and no local bone thrown for the cancelled Louisville and Buffalo shows from 2020. Lame

I'm in.   Going to pony up and take the boys.

I don't think I'm going to do it.

If you haven't yet, watch:

Chuck Leavell Tree Man

https://www.chuckleavellthetreeman.com/

I had know IDEA how much of the sound track of our lives he is on.

Currently the musical director/keyboard player for the Rolling Stones!

I saw that chuck doc. Was really cool and I also had no idea

Prices for Houston (from the AXS test):
Pit 499
Field Seats 499
Field Seats 399 (in the back)
GA 150
Nosebleeds 69
Seats from 89 - 399
Lucky Dips 80

I ended up grabbing 2 Foxboro GAs for 155 each. Not ideal schedule for me but I'll make it work after all

I got into the AARP presale at exactly 10:00, 13,000 people ahead of me on TM's website. Some say the AARP website crashed, not surprised, but it only took you to Ticketbastard anyway.

Very slim and expensive pickins by the time I got in. $950+ for the 'Upclose Package', or whatever they called it. That was 25 rows back from the stage, too rich for me.

Oh well, there's The Stones presale at noon. I'm starting to miss waiting on line outside of the local record store.

MetLife Sunday 5/26 added, just went onsale. Stones presale code DIAMONDS

Dynamic pricing.  Same seats went from $245 to $420 and back to $245 .

>>>I saw that chuck doc.

I did as well. It' a good one.

What's the AARP presale code?

Specific to venue FLASH then 3 digits. Area code of venue I think. Was 391 for foxboro

Got a pair up in the rafters for Seattle.  But it is in full view of the stage.  $130 each including fees.

Just picked up a pair of Lucky Dips for Seattle.  $94.70 out the door.

This will be my fifth time doing LD's for the Stones.  Never gotten anything but lower bowl.  Maybe I'll finally get in the pit this time.

Decided to skip out on New Orleans.  No LDs available, and the price for the one day pass was too rich for my blood.  Still might go for the first weekend of Jazzfest, and am also considering going to the French Quarter Fest, which is free.

So after saying I'm out for the tour, here's how it shook out for me:

rear GA Foxboro 155$
Pit Metlife 1         550$
LD Metlife 2.         89$
LD Chicago 2.       89$

four Stones shows for under 1000$. And a possibility of 3 in the pit(but at least one)

Lucky Dips for Vancouver $100 cad. Was in 'n out in 2 minutes, skipped the queue.

uh what's a lucky dip and how do you get one?

nevermind

Fri night after ticket day....

I can't be bothered with ridiculous ripoff concert or Ticketbastard prices anymore. If I can't buy directly from the box office I just don't go. I'm seeing Bruce Hornsby in a 500 seat theater on Tuesday.  $80 no fees. That is a great deal.

Lucky Dips were 89$ for a pair... that's cheaper than your Hornsby ticket and a shot at the front...

i  saw Bruce for free last summer he was decent enough

^^^^
Fishcane. Where I come from $80 is less than $89. Lol

89$ was for a pair so divide by 2 lol.

Hilarious....

He must've missed the Talk is Cheap/Shes the Boss era. How many solo projects have Blur guys done again?

Who the fuck us this loser? LOL

I managed to get a reasonably priced single (non-resale/non-obstructed view) ticket in the 100 section for the Levi's Stadium show.

I haven't seen these guys since the (for me) somewhat underwhelming Steel Wheels tour, but I'm looking forward to the scene and hoping there will be a moment or two of greatness.

I saw a couple on the steel wheels tour and thought they were a step up from the 81 JFK show and on the level with the 81 carrier dome . Almost Hear You Sigh is one of their greatest songs, so glad I caught one

While '89 had some good shows - Keith was on top of his game, and Bill was still with them, overall I found it pretty watered-down compared to '81 or earlier.

^^^^^Currently the musical director/keyboard player for the Rolling Stones!

pretty sure Chuck is out this tour, his wife is sick and likely Matt Clifford on keys

I only saw the stones in 2019 in Santa Clara

$20 lucky dip VIP pit, that was dope

It took about 2 songs for me to understand these guys invented what every band I'd ever seen in my life was trying to do
