My first was on the Tattoo You Tour on December 7, 1981 at the Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland, when I was 16. My dad got me front row seats and backstage passes, and I got to take three friends with me. It was my Almost Famous moment and introduction to the Rock & Roll Circus. Some of the show I saw ended up on their "Still Life" album.
I didn't see them again until 2002 at The Big A in Anaheim. They were playing a lot of stuff off of Exile On Main Street, which was cool.
A couple of years later, I saw Keith perform without the rest of the Stones at the "Return To Sin City" Gram Parsons tribute show at the Universal Amphitheatre, in Universal City. He did a duet with Norah Jones of "Love Hurts". A great show, that ended up getting released on dvd.
In 2014, I saw them at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm at the start of a month vacation in Sweden. I took one of my cousins who lives there, and we had a great time. The World Cup soccer tournament was going on then, and I remember coming out of the show and watching the U.S. get knocked out of the tournament on big screens set up by bars just outside the TELE2. That was the "14 On Fire" tour.
Then, in 2015, I caught two shows on the "Zip Code" tour, at Heinz Stadium in Pittsburgh, and at the Marcus Amphitheatre on the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee. In Pittsburgh, I got to take my next oldest brother to his first Stones show, righting a wrong from 1981, when my dad had snubbed him and given me the seats and passes to the Cap Centre show, telling him "you're in college now, and you need to focus on your studies, so I'm giving your little brother these tickets." The Milwaukee show was great, the smallest venue of the tour, and with Buddy Guy opening and joining them onstage for "Champagne & Reefer".
I've had to travel a lot this year to deal with family issues, so Europe isn't in the cards for me this time around. The chatter on the Stones boards says that they are confirmed for Knebworth next Summer, so the guess is there will be more U.K. shows around that, and perhaps a North American Tour too in 2018. It would be nice if they make it easy and play Seattle, but I'll probably hit the road to see them somewhere (MSG?) if they skip the PNW.
There are others here who have seen them way more than me. I know Woz has, and I think Tommy the French chef has too.
I hope you get to see them one day. It's not the GD, but it is also one of those "there is nothing else like it" experiences.
In the summer of 1987 I was working as freelance audio engineer at Unique Recording Studios in NYC.
When that was over, the next morning I took my resume and myself to the Right Track Recording studio. I enter this really long hallway & I see two guys waiting to get buzzed in.
One guy was a limo driver & the other guy was a skinny small happy guy dressed in a jogging suit. Holy Shit it's Mick Jager!!
Mick said to me jokingly "So, your trying to get into the TIGHT TRACK too". I shook his hand, showed him my resume/folder and said "I'm just trying to get my foot in the door". Hung out in that hallway with him for about 10 minutes until they could hear the buzzer through Jeff Beck's overdubs.
Mick invited me in as his production assistant on what was left to do on his solo album "Primitive Cool. Great guy. Nicest person I met in that industry. Fun 2 weeks in NYC.
Funny story - My friend met Keith Richards in a restaurant Antigua, after the Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle Tour in 1991.
Said he went into the bathroom and heard what sounded like someone doing enough coke for 10 people. When the guy in the stall slipped and crashed into the wall/door (probably too much recoil), my friend asked if everything was ok in there, and heard a gruff voice say: 'Yeah, mate, I'm alright' - and out stepped Keith.
Later, while walking down the beach, he ran into Keith again lounging, and was invited to hang for a while. I guess being a non-star struck high caliber jazz musician, made him hangable.
Oh yeah, decent setlists so far for 2017. Dancing With Mr D was an unexpected welcome surprise. Still too many warhorses, but they're mixing it up a bit so far.

They always give the new fan a chance to enjoy an unabashed Rolling Stones show. Timeless.
After today's events in Vegas, I have to wonder if the Stones which slip SFTD out of the opener slot. Gimme Shelter and Midnight Rambler will be intense.
Meanwhile, the faithful gather for tonight's show at the 50,000 seat Telia Parken in Copenhagen, Denmark. With all the heavy news in the last 24 hours, I think everyone could use a little glimmer in their lives. It 's only rock 'n roll.

"In honor of their show date in Stockholm on October 12, 2017, the series is inspired by the Stockholm Exhibition. Held in 1930, the exhibition showcased art from several artists and craftsmen. The exhibition’s slogan was “Acceptera!” or “Accept!”, which was a plea for acceptance of functionalism and standardization as a cultural change. Just as this was a revolution for housing and products, The Rolling Stones changed Rock’n’Roll, in the 1960s."
Safe travels woz.I wont be able to go sunday, too much work.still have 2 carre d'or seats 4 sale cheap.I,ll be hittin The Last one next wednesday.Have a gas A Paris
I think Little Walter's "Hate to See You Go" is the first song I noticed the Rolling Stones played from their last release Blue & Lonesome at the Paris 10/22 show.
Not sure what you mean, they did Just your Fool and Ride 'em Down on 10/19.
10/22 was better than 10/19. We danced with Mr. D and Keith's playing was sharp, focused and great. I had a blast at both shows. Sad the tour is over and I hope the rumored tour of the UK comes true next summer!

Other then Only R&R & Miss You, the set lists have not changed in 45 years as well as the dynamics of the show
You can paint it with whatever color ink (paint it black - in fact), change the camera, font, or handwriting, but the set lists have not changed in 45 years.
They always give the new fan a chance to enjoy an unabashed Rolling Stones show. Timeless.
Long live the kings of Rock & Roll

Meanwhile, the faithful gather for tonight's show at the 50,000 seat Telia Parken in Copenhagen, Denmark. With all the heavy news in the last 24 hours, I think everyone could use a little glimmer in their lives. It 's only rock 'n roll.

"In honor of their show date
"In honor of their show date in Stockholm on October 12, 2017, the series is inspired by the Stockholm Exhibition. Held in 1930, the exhibition showcased art from several artists and craftsmen. The exhibition’s slogan was “Acceptera!” or “Accept!”, which was a plea for acceptance of functionalism and standardization as a cultural change. Just as this was a revolution for housing and products, The Rolling Stones changed Rock’n’Roll, in the 1960s."
