Santa Cruz Mountains ZMA

With all the amazing Grateful Dead related musical activity happening in the Bay Area,
it's very easy to feel buried by the big boys plying their skills to attract fans and dollars round here.

I remain undaunted by this reality because I am having too much fun jamming with my kid, who has turned into
a pretty strong lead guitarist by his own obsessive-compulsive tendencies.  It's also a blast to jam with his pals who have mad skills and big ears!

That said - Pleased to inform VLZ that "Ted & Company." will be playing a couple of sets of GD / Jerry stuff on Saturday afternoon, August 18
at a fun little festival - at Camp Loma - high up in the Santa Cruz Mountains (near Loma Prieta - ground zero of the '89 quake.)

CAMPING - Comfortable tent sites under the tall, shady redwoods and full bathrooms with hot water showers.
Separate chill/family and party time camp areas.

POOL - The pool party opens Saturday afternoon with a special Alcatraz Islanders luau set.
