Is screaming about politics allowed this year

Two Senators apiece was necessary to form the Union and now to keep it together. Otherwise, there would be absolutely no benefit for a low population state to be in the Union. I hope you can understand that very simple concept.

Senators have 6 year terms for a reason. It affords them a broader outlook than their 2-year counterparts in the House. They can look at the "big picture," the good of both their State and the nation as a whole. Representatives are all about their district and constituents.

Is Trumpism really "politics"?

Brian, what they look at is who is paying them to do what.

It's just as valuable now. I get that it makes it "unfair" for California, Florida, New York and Texas, but fair isn't always equal. There has to be equity, on some level, for it to work.

Every state has to have some say. The current system ensures that they do. Otherwise, we have nothing.

I can think of 50 things that would make our system better, and senators by population isn't one of them.

Right now I'd start with maximum penalties for the January 6 seditionists and treasonists, and the same penalties for any Congressperson who continues to spout that BS.

Then, maybe term limits for Congress, as well as an expanded Judiciary?

Sure, and that's a problem that has nothing to do with senators per state. It's also a problem that can be solved pretty easily.

The GOP has one role in our national conversation and that is to own the libs. They hate modernism, multiculturalism and any attempt at compromise. All they want is outrage, one outrage after another. Critical race theory, down play racism and slavery. White people tamed this country all by themselves. Unions are bad and Russia is our friend.

Who thinks that this nation could pull together to handle a national emergency? Christ we are in the middle of one right now and still can't pull out. Why take a vaccine.when you can take horse dewormer, eat dirt or snort your own urine. 

What happened to our representatives  looking out for the interests of their constituents and not the rich with their hands in their pockets. God help us. One party gets their governing ideas from TV hosts. 

What is the platform for the Republican party? Could someone please tell what they want?

Interesting observation!

Along the same lines, I've always wondered if Mark Levin or Sean Hannity talk that way in "real life" ... I mean do they say "pass the salt" with the same cadence and tone?

For shits n giggles I used to spend a few minutes a day checking out the craziness on AM radio + foxnews on tv at nite just to see what they're up to. Those days are over. The potency of the filth on those outlets these days is so strong, a normal person can only handle 2 or 3 minutes of it before you can actually feel your brain starting to decompose. I'm spending less time on my liked outlets as well.

Hope Biden doesn't run again assuming he even makes it that long.   The only reason he won is because the former president was so awful and dispised by a majority of Americans.
