Back when I lived in OR we used to goof around on the Coast & drive by "Sea-Lion Caves".
It was a popular Tourist Attraction, but we never stopped in.
Anybody ever check it out ?
I heard that it was full of Sea-Lions.

Those things are unabashed about fucking with crab traps. Some of the fishermen on the Columbia have a real beef with them.

They've destroyed many a dock
They've destroyed many a dock all up and down the W. coast.
People sometimes (not sure about right now) have permission to shoot them dead when they set up camp by fish ladders at Columbia R. dams.
Of course, they were here first, and humans are probably responsible for a much greater proportion of salmon reduction through building the dams in the first place, as well as habitat destruction and ocean pollution. I'm against shooting them.
The sea lions, I mean.
Well, the humans too.
