Sean Ono Lennon Handed The Keys

Yoko Ono, 87, hands over her business interests in The Beatles and John Lennon to their son Sean

Always liked Sean. Loved him after his collaboration with Claypool. Playing stuff like that, you know he has a keen mind.

Seanster

Sean:  Hey Jude....

Julian: what?

Sean: Mumzy just fucked you over again!

Julian: Hmmm, maybe I should have just gone out to get her.....

The treatment of Julian by John + Yoko has been pretty disgraceful.

Sean seems different, better.  So much easier on the ears and the mind than Yoko.  I believe things will change for the better soon for brother Jude.

Why are they so pissed at Julian ?
Does it have something to do with that " Sitting on a pebble by the river" song?

I hope so- they ARE brothers, and who could possibly need all that money.

Don't make it bad...

From the story:

"John also shares a son Julian with his first wife Cynthia but the pair had a strained relationship.

The Beatle frequently described his first son as unplanned, saying he 'came from a bottle of whiskey', while saying Sean was a 'planned child, and therein lies the difference'.

John even quit music for a number of years after Sean was born, but in Julian's early life, his father was mostly absent.

The singer created a trust for Julian to receive £100,000 when he turned 21, but he had to split that equally with any of John's other future children.

Julian, who is now 57, was excluded from John's will, with Yoko and Sean the main beneficiaries of his reported $200million at the time of his death.

In 1996, Julian sued his father's estate and after a lengthy court battle, settled with Yoko for a reported $25million, although he has denied the figure."

Damn.  I knew that John was an absentee father with Julian and wasn't nice to Cynthia, but cutting him out entirely like that was pretty harsh.

Saying that a kid "came from a bottle of whiskey" when your famous and knowing you'll be quoted is major-league douchey, even if it's true. Can't "imagine" how that comment made the kid feel.

It looks like Cynthia fucked Eric Clapton.

Damn John's a savage. I was a John head when I was 16 but as I got older I came to appreciate George the most.

You guys should read Cynthia’s book, John...(Julian’s mom)

i was fortunate to get signed copy from her when it came out.

> Damn John's a savage. I was a John head when I was 16 but as I got older I came to appreciate George the most.

Have you seen the Martin Scorsese film Living in the Material World? George practiced his own form of savagery at times.

I will check that out.

I was into the Beatles in High school and briefly after but hadn't listened to the in a long time. But because I bought a car like 3 years ago I've been checking in on old channel 018 often.

It must have been Fucked up to be a Beatle. I can't even imagine. Lots of drama n drugs to go around. I don't hold a grudge on any of em.

What if John faked his own death with Yoko's aid?  Maybe he's out there making retired Beatle Music under different names,  or helping his various kids with their Music-recording projects.

Yoko and the kids would have known,  but kept quiet for the long-term $$$ income.

That's a hint in that old Beatle Tune "Your Mother Should Know".

Though she was born a long, long Time ago
Sing It Again...

Let's all get up and dance to a song

That was a hit before your mother was born
Though she was born a long, long time ago
Your mother should know (your mother should)
Your mother should know (know)

John was always a cunt.  That's just the way it is.  One of the best songwriters but a shit of a person.  Many of our 'heroes' fit the same bill.

Check out Larry from Black47's take on history after the Beatles rightfully should have ended... Liverpool Fantasy

Seans hat and Julians face says it all.  Sean has been able to get away with his silly bs...

Stu - my guess is "your mother should know" is referring to his mom being gone.  John wrote a lot of songs about his mom being gone.  that was a big deal for him.

I don't believe he did not die, btw.

But it's fun to pretend sometimes....as long as one knows one is pretending....
