Retired (um fired) Texas police captain was paid $200,000 by some right wing group to ferret out election fraud. The sleuth started stalking an AC repairman who he suspected of ferrying bogus ballots in his work truck. Eventually, the former cop ran the repairman off the road and held him at gunpoint (knee to neck George Floyd style) but turned out there was nothing nefarious going on (except for the kidnapping and assault).
