Ted & Company will be indulging in our own particular interpretations from songbook of the Grateful Dead....

This fits neatly between 2 nights of Dark Star Orchestra on Friday and Saturday at the UC Theater in Berkeley
and 2 nights of Dead & Company on Monday and Tuesday at the Dump in Mt View!.....
Join us for an uninterrupted 5 nights of fun!

Do you live in the City or drive home North?

Looks like you'll be relaxing by 10pm Sunday.

A lot of nice work here (art work, booking & performing)

Impressive.

You are sure having a full weekend of music. Nice that you are fitting right in the schedule that way. Have a great show!

I am confused by having "Jerry Day" on the promo - shouldn't it say sponsored by or something?
(I love the Jerry Day lettering, I believe that's Dise's original lettering for the original posters.)

This band plays so fucking slow!

Oh shit wrong thread devil

Thanks all!

Yes I do flyer art, promo, marketing, play bass, own and manage the PA and wrangle the company (who are made up of my 19 yr old lead-guitar slingin' kid and 3 of his college aged buddies.

I am encouraged that four kids between 19 and 21 are deeply into deep listening, deconstructing and reconstructing Grateful Dead music!

The reason's I wound up in the band are:
A) These kids could not find one of their peers who could play bass and knew this repertoire,
B) I own the rehearsal space, PA and most of the gear!

After we'd jammed a bunch of times one of them suggested the name via group text and that's how we got our name.

Honestly - while we aren't at the same level as the DSO, Wingmen, Family Band and many other bands who tour, I can honestly say we don't suck, we jam hard and we don't play simple hippy/cowboy Dead tunes.  These kids are into complexity and challenging shit - not too many 4 chord songs on our list.

We all live in SF!

If you can make it, I guarantee a lot of entertainment!

Please say hey if you are Zoner and happen to drop in at the Ocean Alehouse this Sunday!

Ted (Treble & Bass-maker)

Yes we are sponsored by the Peeps who put on Jerry Day and we will be playing again on the eve of Jerry Day at Ocean Alehouse - August 4!

Bump!

Love the name...;)

Lets us know when the East Coast tour will be...;)

On the road w a bunch of kids? Cmon....whats the worst that could happen???

Have fun, and we want tapes of these shows etc (if possible)

Way to go, Ted. Have  a "grate" time.

>>>I own the rehearsal space, PA and most of the gear!

Robert Earl Keen had a funny story one time about being in a band that fired him and then they realized he owned the gear.

I enjoyed the last video you put up.  Hopefully we'll see another from this upcoming weekend.

Hah! I didn't get the "Ted and Company" play on words til it was pointed out. Good one, Ted.

For the record - the players in this band named it Ted and Company - not me.  I just said yes for lack of any other creative idea.

Have a great gig! I love the name!
