Just watched 'Straight Time' (1978) with Dustin Hoffman as a released convict trying to make it on the outside. Very convincing performance.

Features Gary Busey, Theresa Russell, Harry Dean Stanton, Kathy Bates, M Emmet Walsh, and a very young Jake Busey.
