Sling TV

Forums:

anyone else and their significant other thinking about doing a little slinging?

It's too choppy for me

Nice for vacation house that doesn't have cable

so FUN !

Interested in hearing from folks about Sling.

FED UP with Century Link. Phone, internet and TV out from Sunday morning to Tuesday late afternoon. Their customer service SUCKS!

My cheap $137 a month contract for all including tax is ending. Their tech even said check out Sling.

Where will you get your internet from, I have fleeting thoughts on change now and again.

Slick- you must terminate Century Dink as soon as possible.

I went to war with them last year.

>>>Where will you get your internet from?

Jaz - I have Google in my neighborhood (the reason for the special pricing 2 years ago) and I also can get Comcast.

Comcast offered me $120 a month for all three (TV, internet, phone). I think Google is about $160 plus taxes and fees. I'm researching.

P.S.- The reason for my outage? A squirrel chewed into the cable. Knocked out service to at least 15 people in the area and it took them over 2 days to get it back.

I’m doctored in at the old price per monthly. Love it. Not choppy at all on my TV.

Google Fiber isn’t available for this area

Had it for 2 years. Check out philo too

My cable and internet bill through Spectrum was starting to push $200 after yearly increases so I finally cut the cord. I researched all the streaming options and went with PlayStation Vue. Enjoying it so far, with my main gripe being the fast forward/rewind functions with DVR. No buffering, or anything of the sort, which was my main concern.

Spectrum's already starting to send me shit to get me to resubscribe. I haven't paid much attention to it, but if they put me back on a new-customer package I'll consider it. I've heard great things about YouTube TV but it's not available in my area.

Oh, and Hulu was offering a $12 yearly subscription this week and it may still be available.
