I think we just need more black screen 2.0 boots on the ground, and also maybe not many notable shows are happening at the moment.

I'll be at the Chris Robinson show tonight at TxR, would you like a recap of that tomorrow?

Let's get busy people, and...

GO TO THE SHOW!

CRB at TxR the first night was a Dylan first set, Jerry/GD second set. Given the rhythm of 2016, after the third Dylan song I began to worry that maybe Bob Dylan had died; fortunately they were just having fun with their set list. I thought the show overall was pretty good with some really good moments, but lots of slower songs and Casal wasn't really lifting me up.

Last night was completely different, with lots of rockin' and rollin' and Casal played as well or better than I've ever seen him, and I've seen him quite a bit over the years. The dude was on fire.

For me the highlight of the night and of the two shows was a great version of Lou Reed's Rock & Roll. Robinson's band reworks many of the covers they play in interesting ways, and that version was just excellent.

It was a really fun & festive two nights in Phil's little rock 'n roll hall and I'm glad I was there.

Anyone have the Grahame and Friends (featuring Phil) NYE setlist? Looked for them earlier today and didn't see them.

I love Lou Reed's Rock and Roll. Glad you got a good one, Lance.

Did cryotte just start a thread asking where setlists are and then post a setlist?

Lol, yes, Ihe did. It's a Mule set list too. Not Phil.

He's still in the troll game for sure.

Seems like he is still in the drunk game to me.

Is that flag on the Empire State Building real? Not a good picture. I don't get it anyway. Phil was in Hawaii

is this a Mule board? Maybe I am wrong.

Mule is so boring, and look, they covered a bunch of tunes tons of other bands cover. I just don't hear the attraction.

Joe you dont get it was a mega tribute to lost Muscians...

Only Music about Phil can be posted here?

Hmmmm

 What's the drunk game?

Oh I get it man. Easy covers bar bands play all the time my man. You don't get it. No limits pushed anymore, Mule is a big bore with Zero new to offer.

No, post anything you want, I just find it funny you complain, then you post a Mule set list to a bunch of Phil fans. Post away though. I could care less, it's entertaining and at least it's about music

The drunk game, I am pretty sure you know the game well.

relax

Slimfast alienating the group from day 1, any idea why he's such a dick? Hoover made a funny on him in the vacation thtead, probably why he's all lashy outee on your thread Coyote. Consider the source! A former loser at PZ trying to reinvent himself and failing once again....

Wassup Fafa  Happy New Year...  New Rule ,Try not to entertain the bottom feeder's and trolls, or those with new fake handles they hide behind.

You two are cute.  It's like the old drunks of the zone. Thank you, it's very entertaining

Fafa, if you open threads about music, which you don't, but if you did, you would see a lot more post from me. I noticed you are not a troll. You are the guy surfing around to pile on. Now there is something got be proud of.

you look for drama. Like a little girl

i am not your guy angry man, sorry

peace

Poor Crackhead, nobody understands you!

>> Hoover made a funny on him in the vacation thtead <<

Think you mixed up your Joes.

He did.

he has me confused too, he is old And drank his brain wet

i was jumped on and called Kirley by a few when I first posted. Ignorance is bliss they say.

just keep a good thought for him

looks like he is a crackhead too.

i am not your guy, and careful, I don't are what you call me, but others do and I do t want you banned man.

Syntax

Is this some sort of attempt at poetry?

Of course what Coyotte was asking for is info & details on the variety of music that folks participating here are interested in, which IMO was one of the best things about the Philzone, and hopefully will be one of the best things about VLZ.

I'm not a Gov't Mule fan, but I find it interesting to see what they did on NYE, which looks to be pretty cool.

To complete my small contribution to this good thread, here are the setlists from the two all-covers Chis Robinson Brotherhood shows they just played at TxR. Shows that didn't blow me away but showed me once again what a fun & interesting little band the CRB is, and why they're worth seeing.
