I think I read Bonnie Raitt will be singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" somewhere that day.

I'm planning to go to Walt and Kimberly's in the path of totality. I don't know if they have a theme song picked out.

The last one was in 1979 ( I graduated HS that year), says the next one will be in 2024. If I live to that year I will have witnessed 3 Total solar eclipse in my lifetime...:)





For some reason the first song to pop into my head was The Other One, I think this one would be a wonderful soundtrack to listen to as it is happening ~

Not exactly on point in terms of theme - but I think starting the day on 8/21 with Jorma's "Embryonic Journey," would be more than appropriate.

That amazing tune seems to have massive emotional impact when combined with trippy and profound visual imagery....
